Another agent has passed away, and "Quantico" boss Joshua Safran has confirmed the death of the character. In "Quantico" Season 2, episode 16, Harry tells Alex that he is quitting the task force. But, it is later revealed that someone has put a gun on his head.

The executive producer has revealed that it is sad to lose Russell in the show, he adds that he might have gone momentarily or forever from "Quantico." However, he has confirmed that it is the actor's exit from the show.
After "Quantico" Season 2, episode 16, Safran speaks with TVLine about Harry and more.
When asked about Harry and Sebastian. He confirms that this might be the last time we see Harry in the season of "Quantico." He does not reveal any detail about what happens after the phone call.
"I'll give you a tidbit I shouldn't be giving, but I think it's important: This very well may be the last time you see Harry on the show - for this season, I will say, at the very least. What happens after that phone call, you'll find out. What happens during that phone call, you'll find out. Russell was committed to doing [the United Kingdom's National Theatre production of] Angels in America when we hired him," Safran says.
He adds that they knew about it and they had hard about with him. However, Russell has stayed for a longer period of time than initially planned as he loved "Quantico" so much.
"That isn't to say he won't be back - although maybe he's dead. Keep watching, you'll find out very soon if that happened. But it is definitely sad to lose Russell momentarily at least, or maybe forever in the Quantico universe. But yes, this is kind of an exit," Safran adds.
