It can be recalled that nearly five years ago, then Hollywood couple Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart were in the middle of a relationship issue. The latter was witnessed having an affair with director, Rupert Sanders, and was now recently brought up to the said director.
Kristen Stewart was involved in a scandal about five years ago, when she was spotted kissing director Rupert Sanders, while she was still dating "Twilight" co-star Robert Pattinson. The duo was on top of the most iconic couples in Hollywood at the time and has a very strong fan base.
However, things turned sour when Stewart was caught locking lips with the director of the film she was currently working on at the time, "Snow White and the Huntsman." Thus, this has then triggered the end of the relationship between Stewart and Pattinson, Entertainment News Online reported.
When the photos of Sanders and Stewart caught kissing on July 2012 started to circulate around the media, the two have then issued a public apology towards their respective significant others. Sanders apologized to his wife of 11 years and kids as well, while Stewart apologized to Pattinson for the hurt and embarrassment that the scandal has caused.
Now that years have gone by and all the parties involved have already moved on with their respective lives, Sanders was asked to recall what he got form the affair as he is now currently directing the film "Ghost in the Shell." According to him, no one ever knows what comes into their lives and when things as such happen, everyone must learn how to brush off the mistakes that were made and move on eventually, according to News.
The scandal has not saved any one of them form future issues despite having passed such event of Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart already. Stewart also referenced the said affair during a guesting for the show "Saturday Night Live," to which he called off the current US President Donald Trump for reacting to such showbiz scandal online.
