The dating rumors between the “Outlander” season 3 stars Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe have never been off the table. The co-stars were seen at a rugby game together in South Africa.
The Starz television series “Outlander” season 3 is currently filming their show in South Africa, which means Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe are there. Fresh speculations arise that the stars of the show Heughan and Balfe are romantically involved as they are reportedly dating at a rugby game.
Recently, PEOPLE.com reported that the alleged couple were spending a lot of time together outside of filming their series while in South Africa; they even attended a recent rugby match in Cape Town, South Africa. A photo of the two with the players was uploaded by Heughan via his Twitter account. This has then sparked the speculations on the dating all the more.
However, the alleged couple have previously denied these rumors already and even said that they are already exhausted with how they have to convince the world that they are not together. Reports have claimed that according to Balfe, “honestly, I am tired of that conversation. This is a fantasy. This is our job.” Thus, the actors intently claim that they are indeed just good friends who manage to have good chemistry together as husband and wife on television. Some fans are however saddened by the thought of them not being an item, which saddens Heughan.
As for filming of the series, the cast of the show have been snapped a couple of times while currently in production located in South Africa. According to The Scottish Sun, the author of the book upon which the series “Outlander” was based upon, Diana Galdon even visited the location of their upcoming season. She is able to see first-hand how her book is currently being adapted by the network.
Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe have been rumored to be together for quite some time now, but both parties already confirmed that they are not dating.
