Former Spice Girl's member Mel B is currently going through a divorce with husband Stephen Belafonte, and the process has been controversial. The former filed a restraining order against the latter under the grounds that he has abused her and even impregnated their own nanny.

They are currently filing for divorce and there have been a lot of issues that have circulated around the couple. According to reports, she files for restraining order under the grounds that Belafonte abused her and forces her into threesomes with random women. Many of their friends believe otherwise, since they could not fathom how she was "forced" into doing those things for nine years. Also, her friends have recognized the singer as a very sexual person, and must have agreed to these scenarios, Fox News reported.
Aside from their crazy choices of sexual encounters, they would get into intense fights as well. However, they have always projected themselves as very into the relationship. Thus the divorce and the restraining order surprised many since some friends would define their relationship as a couple who seem to be addicted to each other. Despite the fights, they would still choose to be together nonetheless. Aside from the alleged abuse and wild sex life, Belafonte also allegedly impregnated the family's nanny, Lorraine Gilles.
Gilles is to be called to court to testify on the claims to which Belafonte denied. The former has been considered to be part of the family and the latter claims that during her stay and emply, nothing happened that made her feel uncomfortable. Her parents also claims that they don't know anything about the abuse, otherwise their daughter would have already left the premises if she has witnessed and violence, according to Mirror.
Gilles worked for the couple for as long as they were married and has been dragged into the divorce controversies between the hitmaker and Belafonte.
