Seo Kang Joon might be making his big screen comeback soon! In fact, Fantagio confirmed that they artist received an offer to play the lead role for an upcoming film.
The statement came after an unknown source spilled singer-actor's potential movie project. "Seo Kang Joon has received a scenario script for "Dream" and is currently reviewing it," it said as per Soompi.
The claim was later verified by Fantagio, stating that the 5urrise member is still undecided about the offer.
"It is true that [Seo Kang Joon] received an offer and is currently looking it over. He is considering the role but nothing has been confirmed as of yet," a network affiliate explained.
The 23-year-old singer-actor made his big screen with "My Love, My Bride" in 2014. The Shin Min Ah-led film was followed by a cameo in "Beauty Inside" where he appeared as one of the many actors to portray Woo Jin's changing character.
In the same year, Seo Kang Joon was featured in "Summer Snow" as Han Sang Gyu. But apart from these movies, the singer-actor is best known for his roles in "Cheese in the Trap" where he played the supporting role of Baek In Ho.
Aside from his potential big screen comeback, the 5urprise member also received a proposal for a robot character in "Are You Human Too (tentative title)," an upcoming fantasy drama of KBS as per Allkpop.
After an insider confirmed that Seo Kang Joon is a prospect for the upcoming series, the singer-actor has been receiving rude comments from the netizens. Some of them thought the actor would fit the role because of his robotic acting, while others made fum of the artist.
"He always acted like a robot, now he's actually turning into one," a commenter said. Another one posted, "Hasn't he always acted like a robot? What's new about this?"
At the time of writing, Seo Kang Joon has yet to give his final decision for the drama role.
