Korea Institute of Corporate Reputation has finally revealed the actors and actresses who best captured the heart of the viewers for the month of April.
According to the company, Hallyu stars Park Bo Young and Hyungsik of the recently finished TV drama series “Strong Woman Do Bong Soon” were the ones who topped the actress and actor categories respectively. Also included in the list are Jang Hee Jin, Lee Bo Young, Kim Young Chul, Lee Sang Yoon, Choi Kang Hee, Go Ah Sung, Ryu Soo Young, Lee Young Ae, Kim Jae Won and so on, All KPop reported.
Meanwhile, “Strong Woman Do Bong Soon” director Lee Hyung Min has recently shared his thoughts on the positive response the drama is receiving from the viewers. Furthermore, he also extended his gratitude to Park and Hyungsik for their promising contribution to the show’s success.
“I’m so grateful to both of them. I’m not trying to play favorites, but I’m especially grateful to Park Bo Young. I hope that ‘Strong Woman Do Bong Soon’ becomes a memorable production in her filmography… Park Hyung Sik had so much fun and told me it was a new experience for him… I told him to say and do anything that he felt his character would do,” the director shared, as quoted by Soompi.
He continued regarding the other actors of the series: “Kim Won Hae said he enjoyed his time on set. Jeon Suk Ho and Shim Hye Jin did so well too… and it made me happy to see that translate well when we were editing the drama I hope it was a fun memory for everyone involved.”
“Strong Woman Do Bong Soon” made its premier in the Korean TV on February 24 this year with the rating of 3.829% audience share. The show ended on April 15 and was considered as JTBC’s top-rated drama.
