Following news about her breakup with Bryan Tanaka, Mariah Carey celebrated Easter with ex-husband Nick Cannon and their children Monroe and Moroccan on Sunday, April 16. The twins were having fun with mom and dad as they painted the easter egg together.
This was their second public appearance with their sons after last month Carey and Cannon accompanied the twins to the Nickelodeon's 2017 Kids' Choice Awards in Los Angeles. The kids were so happy to spend Easter Sunday with their father parents, E! News reported.
Prior to the Easter holiday, Carey was reported to break up with her new beau Tanaka, as reported by People. Tanaka is her backup dancer and she hooked up with him after her engagement with Australian billionaire James Packer ended October last year after they engage for 10 months since January 2016, when she was in the process to finalize her divorce with Cannon.
The 47-year-old singer married Cannon in 2008, and three years later she gave birth to the twins children Moroccan, and his sister Monroe. However, they could not get along well as husband and wife and in 2014, Cannon filed for divorce.
Following the end of her engagement with Packer, Carey was in a relationship with her backup dancer, Tanaka. However, in less than a year, she broke up with him, and according to sources. Carey could not stand Tanaka's jealousy toward her ex-husband. Tanaka was reported to be very jealous with Cannon. When she and Cannon accompanied their kids at the at the Kids' Choice Awards, he kept asking her to go home soon.
Carey and Cannon remain in a good relationship as the parents to their twins. They have agreed to continue their role as the parent to both Moroccan and Monroe, which encourage them to spend the Easter Sunday together.
