Hannah Quinlivan may have unwittingly revealed the venue of her upcoming wedding to Mandopop king Jay Chou during a recent media interview.
The two have already made public their plan to marry on January 18 but have kept mum about the venue and other juicy details about their wedding preps.
In a recent media interview, the future Mrs. Chou talked to China Times about her coming big day, revealing that her decision to accept Chou's marriage proposal was born out of her desire not to be selfish.
Although the Australian-Taiwanese stunner is only 21 years old, she said she had to consider that her fiance has reached the age that he set for himself to settle down in domestic bliss. She further described Chou as a very considerate and gentle man, so she decided to become Ms. Chou despite her youth.
Chou recently proposed to Quinlivan in the U.K. after a long romance that many have noticed to be quite smooth-sailing compared to other celebrity relationships.
Chou had described Quinlivan as someone gentle, quietly supportive and that they get along pretty well. Her understated ways were said to have won, not only Chou's heart but his mother's as well. These adorable qualities of his fiancée may have prompted Chou to ditch any pre-nuptial agreements.
The bride-to-be said she did shed some tears when Chou proposed, "but it was not like the tears covered my whole face."
Just as Chou and Quinlivan have kept their wedding venue secret, the proposal location was also something that everyone had to keep guessing.
When Quinlivan was asked if Chou proposed in an old castle in the U.K., she accidentally blurted out "That's wedding!" And there's the slip! There have been unconfirmed reports that the wedding will be held in Edinburgh.
As for their honeymoon, Quinlivan says she yearns to be at the Blue Grotto on Italy's Capri Island.
