Elon Musk and Amber Heard publicly confirmed their relationship via the upload of photos in their own social networking accounts. The pictures were snaps of moments when the two went around Australia to have some fun.
The photo that made people start talking again about Musk and Heard was the one taken from a restaurant. The actress has her arm on the Tesla's CEO's shoulder while he sports a full lipstick mark on his cheek.
This shot was also posted on the pair's respective Instagram accounts so it seems that they are really letting people know that they are dating. According to TMZ, the couple also went to Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary and tried ziplining. The tech billionaire's two sons were also spotted on the site.
After the adventure at the wildlife sanctuary, Heard celebrated her 31st birthday together with Musk and his children. The cast and crew of "Aquaman" also surprised Heard with a specially-made cake which was ordered ahead of time at a popular store called Cakelouisa located in Bonogin. A picture of the Mera-themed cake was also posted on the actress' Instagram.
Now, those who have been following Musk's SNS find it odd that the billionaire has been posting personal photos lately. Usually, he only posts about his business projects and ventures, thus his upload of something related to his personal life surprised many people.
But there is an explanation for this sudden change, Tama Leaver, Curtin University Associate Professor in internet studies, said via Brisbane Times, "I think both of them have probably discussed and thought carefully about wanting this relationship to be public, and I think this is a fairly canny way of doing that."
Musk and Heard have been rumored to be dating since the summer of last year as they were spotted together on several occasions. However, both sides have not confirmed the relationship in public.
Meanwhile, Heard is in Australia for the filming of her new movie "Aquaman" where she plays the character of DC's Mera, the queen of the sea. Apparently, Musk is visiting her there and they were said to be staying at the Oracle in Broadbeach.
