KPop idol Yong Junhyung is all game to show off his inviting looks and share his thoughts about music in the latest issue of GQ magazine.
In the photos released by the magazine, the Highlight member carried out a mixture of fierce and playful poses for the camera. In one of the shots, the 27-year-old artist wore an open black jacket matched with denim pants and necklace accessories, revealing his fit body and sexy tattoos on his chest.
On the kind of songs that he often conveys, Yong revealed as quoted by Soompi: “…The emotions that I usually experience are ones that are a bit lonely and depressing… When I look back at the things I wrote down during those difficult periods, I get kind of frightened of myself and how intense my emotions are…Truthfully though, songs come out the most easily when I am exhausted or hurt emotionally,”
He continued: “I think I have reached a limit. I write a lot of songs about love but the point of inspiration for these songs was from so long ago. No matter how I hard I try to write about something else, I always end up writing songs about the same thing.”
Meanwhile, Yong has recently made his solo comeback in the entertainment scene. In line with his return is the release of the music video titled “Wonder If” which is included on his new single album “Too Much Love Kills Me” .
Released on May 2 on the YouTube page of worldwide K-Pop Channel “1theK”, “Wonder If” conveys the emotions felt upon reminiscing one’s old love. It also features South Korean singer-songwriter and rapper Heize, Soompi reports.
Also known with as Poppin' Dragon and Joker, Yong rose to fame after joining the boy group B2ST (now called as Highlight) in 2009. Aside from his affiliations with the group, the artist also appeared in several variety shows and TV drama series including “Monstar”.
