They dated for almost three years. Now, E! Online reveals that they are expecting a baby, which is what they have always dreamed of. The couple announced the good news on Thursday.
Now, let us go back to their road to parenthood, as they enjoy their relationship. Months of getting engaged, the couple finally said "I do" on April 26, 2015, in Santa Monica, California at sunset with wedding guests that are asked to donate for their charity event. Reed and Somerhalder enjoyed their outlandish honeymoon vacation in Brazil.
A few months later, the couple posted the news that Reed definitely is pregnant with a sweet photo and caption! She wrote "I know you, but only because I feel you. All I know is that it's the strongest feeling I have ever felt."
For the six months that they were exclusively dating, Somerhalder told Reed he had been in love with her for years," long before they took their friendship to the next level. On January 2015, they got engaged after dating Reed for six months. Somerhalder told Reed that he had been in love with her for years.
Reed and Somerhalder also revealed that they had a production company. "Nikki and I are starting a production company that will be able to tell more stories that we really want to tell, all kinds of stuff, having the success of a television show, particularly like Vampire Diaries, really allows you to be able...spreading creative wings, as well."
