Namgoong Min's Instagram account was flooded with well-wishes after the actor updated his profile with a worrisome photo of himself. The "Chief Kim" actor on Monday took to his SNS account to share a selca of his injured face.
Netizens were more alarmed when they saw his hashtags which include "I got hurt" and "thermal underwear." The Instagram post was more than enough to have Namgoong Min's fans worry about the condition of the actor.
A friend of the Namgoong Min, however, revealed that the post was taken on the set of his upcoming drama and was meant to trick to the fans. The source also guaranteed that the actor is doing just fine even after filming a lot of action scenes for his newest project entitled "Falsify."
"In the drama, there is a scene where his character gets injured. He uploaded it to his social media as a prank," the source said as per Soompi, "There was a lot of action from when they first began shooting, but he was able to finish it without getting hurt."
Following the success of his comedy series "Chief Kim," Namgoon Min is set to show his serious side in "Falsify" which follows the lives of media reporters. According to Allkpop, the actor will take the role of Han Moo Young who will try to uncover the truth behind the death of his reporter brother.
Namgoong Min's label said their artist studied the story of his upcoming drama for some time before he actually accepted the lead role. Unlike his role in "Chief Kim" where he played the comical role of Kim Sung Ryong, the actor will display his charismatic side as Han Moo Young in the legal series.
He is also expected to make a cameo appearance on Park Hae Jin's "Man to Man" series on tvN.
