After months of undying gossips regarding the status of their love-life, TVB talents Moon Lau and Bosco Wong have broken their silence and answered rumors that they are dating.
Earlier this year, Lau and Wong were rumored to be dating while working together on the TVB drama series ‘Two Steps from Heaven.’ Wong portrayed the character of an ambitious business tycoon while Lau acted as the tycoon’s mistress.
Lau denied the rumors that she is dating Wong and said that she treats him as her ‘dai lo’ (older brother).
“He’s really good to us. He’ll treat us to meals and drinks. But most importantly, he’ll give good advice to us juniors too,” Lau said, according to Jayne Stars.
The actress added that she used to find the gossips funny. However lately, the rumors have apparently displeased her.
Aside from being linked to each other, Lau and Wong were also associated with their fellow actors Philip Ng and Cherry Yeung respectively.
Both also denied the hearsays.
Lau worked with Philip in the upcoming Hong Kong martial arts action television drama ‘A Fist Within Four Walls.' According to the tabloids, the two celebrities hooked up, but call it off six months later.
“The world is scary. All of that is fake. We never dated, so how could we break up? Since the beginning, we’ve only been friends. Really close friends,” Lau clarified.
Cherry Yeung, on the other hand, is TVB’s new talent. She has appeared in some of the network’s shows.
Talks about a relationship between Yeung and Wong started after a photo surfaced of the two at an end-of-filming party.
The 17-year-old actress posted the photo on her social media account right after the event.
Wong said that the photo had no malice.
“I can't believe the picture is being used for these baseless accusations!" the actor said.
