It's official! Song Joong Ki and Namgoong Min will make a cameo appearance in the upcoming episodes of "Man to Man."
Apparently, the "Descendants of the Sun" actor filmed his scene for the pre-produced drama back in February. According to Soompi, Song Joong Ki will play as a bank employee in the ninth episode of "Man to Man" slated to be aired on May 19.
He will have a brief encounter with Park Sung Woong and Park Hae Jin's characters in the said "Man to Man" episode. Song Joong Ki graced the invitation of writer Kim Won Suk who penned "Descendants of the Sun" with Kim Eun Sook.
Namgoong Min, on the other hand, accepted the request of PD Lee Chung Min to appear in "Man to Man." The two previously worked together in "Remember" where the actor played as the bad guy.
Further details about his cameo role in the ongoing JTBC series are still unknown as of yet.
"Man to Man" follows the story of a special agent who will work as a personal bodyguard of a popular Hallyu actor. Park Hae Jin takes the role of Kim Seol Woo or Agent K, while Park Sung Woong plays as a popular action star who is hiding a dark secret.
The two lead actors have set their individual ratings promise once the action drama reaches 10 percent in viewership ratings. Park Sung Woong initially vowed to volunteer, while Park Hae Jin pledged to donate 10,000 trees to Korea if the goal is reached.
"I donated trees to China not too long ago, but I've been noticing that there's way too much fine dust in Korea," he said on V Live. "I won't be able to plant all 10,000 trees, but I am definitely planning on donating them."
Catch "Man to Man" every Friday and Saturday at 11:00 p.m. (KST) on JTBC.
