Ahn Jae Hyun appeared on the seventh episode of the show New Journey to the West 2, where he talked about his plans with new wife, Ku Hye Sun.
Since the Snow Lotus actor is the cast's maknae, which refers to the youngest member of the group, he was cooking breakfast for the guys while he revealed that, "My dream has always been to be a good dad. I've always wanted to have a happy life more than I wanted to be an A-lost celebrity. But you need a job in order to live that kind of life, you know?"
He said that he thinks everyone needs the financial ability to help those they love and revealed that even Ku-nim (his nickname for Ku Hye Sun) agrees with that.
A member of the crew asked him if he is already planning to have a child with Ku Hye Sun. He replied, "No."
Although Ahn had said he wanted to have kids early in his marriage in the past, he says that he has changed his mind as he wants to be work on being a good husband first. "Before we got married, I thought to myself that I wanted to be a good dad. But now, I want to be a good husband," Ahn said.
For now, he says he wants to have fun with Ku-nim on their own. "Even once we have a child, I think I'll be saying 'I love you' to my wife first before I say it to our son or daughter. But maybe everyone changes after saying that?" he explained.
Reflecting on their married life, Ahn suddenly and happily shares, "It's so great right now! I can't even explain it in words."
Ahn Jae Hyun registered his marriage to Ku Hye Sun in May. The couple started dating after meeting on the set of their 2015 drama, Blood.
