Mandopop king Jay Chou and singer Show Luo seem to have put the past behind them as they posed for a photo together after years of being estranged from each other.
On June 6, Show shared a photo of him and Jay at the 2016 Hito Music Awards on his Instagram account. Earlier, the two, who have not been seen together for sometime now, graced the stage as they received their respective awards.
They even had a light-hearted banter on stage, with Jay teasing Show by asking, "So, when are you going to be a dad?" Their funny chitchat on stage is what seemed to have broken the ice and mended their once-troubled friendship.
Jay and Show were good friends until they fell out reportedly because of fellow Taiwanese singer, the "Queen of C-pop," Jolin Tsai. Jay and Jolin dated before but are said to have gone their separate ways when Jay got involved with news anchor Patty Hou.
Friends of the couple started choosing sides, with Show making headlines when he decided to side with Jolin.
Aside from that, there were also rumors that Jay got angry at Show after finding out that he was the one who started rumors about him and another Taiwanese singer, Hebe Tien.
Jay even revealed in a past interview that he was extremely disappointed with "a friend whom he had not contacted for a long time."
Last year, Show was again involved in another feud rumor with Jay. Show was dissed by Jay's friends after he brought up a love letter which, Hannah Quinlivan, who is now Jay's wife, wrote to him while she was participating in a 2008 variety program.
Although the two pop stars never really cleared the rumors regarding their feud, it appears that despite having a rocky friendship, they have managed to get through it and sort out their differences.
Show, who seemed to be in good spirits in the photo with Jay, even captioned the image, "We have grown up~!"
