Kim Yeon Woo has apologized to his fans after postponing two concerts due to vocal problems. To make up for the cancellations, he is preparing to stage a free concert for his fans.
The ballad singer had to cancel two shows in December 2015 because of his vocal problems made it difficult for him to hit several high notes.
In the middle of a concert in Cheonan on December 12, the singer told the audience he could not continue because he was struggling with his vocals. He became emotional and even cried while apologizing. Upon cancellation, he gave his audience a refund and issued a public apology. As a token of his gratitude for his fans, Kim held an autograph signing while also allowing fans take a picture with him.
Kim Yeon Woo went to the hospital right after the concert and was advised by his doctor to take a break. This was the reason why he had to cancel his tour to Suwon - much to the disappointment of a lot of fans. He was also honest enough to announce his uncertainty about performing at Goyang and Gwangju as well.
Now that Kim has recovered, he will be hosting a free solo concert on August 6 at the Olympic Park Gymnastics Stadium. He has invited all his fans and said that the concert is his reward for their continuous support. He announced that those who watched his concert at Cheonan will get free entrance while fan who went to his previous concerts at Goyang, Gwangju and Suwon will be given discounted ticket prices.
Meanwhile, those who want to see the singer for the first time can purchase regular tickets until June 21.
