Takizawa Hideaki and Takei Emi will be headlining the new TBS drama Seisei Suru Hodo, Ai Shiteru, which premieres on July 5. The trailer of the new Japanese drama series has just been released and teases about a steamy love affair between the two stars' characters.
Takei, best known for her role as Kamiya Kaoru, in the Rurouni Kenshin franchise, plays the role of Kurihara Mia. She works in the public relations department of the company and gets involved in a complicated affair with the vice president of the company, Miyoshi Kairi, portrayed by Takizawa.
Kairi, who has a wife, gets to know Mia and is able to spend a lot of time with her because he has been assigned to be her trainer. Despite Kairi's tough persona, Mia sees his gentle side and eventually falls for her married boss.
Joining Takei and Takizawa, are Nakamura Aoi, who plays Miyazawa Ryo, another man trying to win Mia's heart, and Mizusawa Erene, who portrays Masaki Akari, Mia's roommate.
Other cast members include Triendl Reina as Miyami Chiaki, another roommate of Mia and Takahsi Mitsuomi as Mia's former beau.
Seisei Suru Hodo, Ai Shiteru will be Takizawa's first drama in TBS after six long years and his first project with Takei. His last project Orthros no Inu, was released in 2010. The exciting new drama is based on the manga series of Kitagawa Miyuki of the same name.
