Hong Kong-based actress Hiromi Wada has broken her silence to defend herself from rumors involving her and TVB talent Hugo Wong. But not just that, she additionally admitted that she is in the process of divorcing her businessman husband, Lam Yan Ho.
According to Asian Pop News, the Japanese-born actress spent a night at Hugo’s place. They were also spotted getting intimate in a supermarket.
“We had a meal with a group of friends, and there were crew members too. I knew that someone was taking our photos, and I thought of going after the photographer, but I could not find him,” explained Hiromi. "I did not stay over at his place. A group of friends organized a big gathering. I left at about 8 to.”
Hiromi explained she and Hugo are only good friends and nothing more. She revealed that although they have not worked in a film project yet, the actor is giving her helpful tips on acting.
Meanwhile, the 28-year-old actress also disclosed that she has been single for six months now, a period which she defined as the “unhappiest time” of her life.
“I was crying every day during the problematic period of our marriage," she revealed, according to Yahoo.
The fact that Hiromi and her husband follow different religions is said to have played a role in their divorce. Although they allegedly tried to patch things up, things did not work out.
