Rumors about Kirs started spreading online on June 14 when a Weibo user named Little G-Na claimed that she is Kris' girlfriend and that he suddenly cut contact with her. To prove her claim, the blogger posted some screenshot of a suspicious WeChat conversation. The girl added that the actor should have just told her if he wanted a breakup.
Another Weibo user, using the name "Love Fan the way," also posted two pictures of a man sleeping on her bed. The man in the picture closely resembles Kris.
The pictures and the WeChat conversation, as well as some audio clips, have gone viral online.
Netizens have had mixed reactions to the posts. While some fans support the actor that the allegations against him are untrue, others are inclined to believe they are true.
One netizen, who is doubtful that the allegations are factual, noted that the timing is suspicious as the rumors started around the time that the actor released a statement about signing with Jackie Chan's Sparkle Roll Media.
Another netizen, who believes the posts are true, pointed out that if it were fabricated, then the actor would have sued Little G-Na.
