Taec-yeon and Kim So-hyun are scheduled to play the roles of an exorcist and ghost in the upcoming tvN series " Bring it On Ghost." The series which is expected to be released in July will reportedly be filled with suspense, comedy, drama and action.
"Bring It On Ghost" is an adaptation from a webtoon that soared to popularity among the younger audience, Drama Beans reported. What's amusing is the fact that only 17-year old Kim So-Hyun is young in real life. Taec-yeon is 28, while the other lead star, Kwon Yul, is 34.
Despite the age difference between Taec-yeon and So-hyun, the chemistry between them is great. The role of Kwon Yul will play as the second male lead star of the show is yet to be revealed.
The main plot of the upcoming tvN supernatural flick focuses on the adventures of a young exorcist, Park Bong Pal, who works for people who can afford his services. He has different rates for different ghosts because some ghosts are angrier and therefore more difficult to exorcise.
On the other hand, So-Hyun's character, Kim Hyun-ji is a school girl ghost who died frustrated. Her death came a day before her college entrance exam; something she was looking forward to since she prepared for it her whole life.
Everything becomes a wild adventure for the exorcist after he meets Kim Hyun-ji's ghost. She moves into his home to keep an eye on his activities. Some feisty action scenes will certainly make the audience laugh and glued to their television screens. Both exorcist and ghost vow to fight each other. The more exciting part, is when the Bong-Pal and Hyun-Ji begin liking each other.
The show will have a Monday-Tuesday schedule, and the time slot still has to be announced. Stay tuned to more updates on tvN's "Bring It On Ghost".
