Summer is here! But that does not mean your faux fur items should be banished to the back of the closet until autumn or winter comes around.
Take a cue from supermodel Gigi Hadid, who stepped out during one of the hottest months of the year sporting a faux fur. Fashionistas can choose to pair theirs' with breezy clothing.
Although it may seem odd to wear faux fur in the heat of the summer, Hadid just proved that anything is possible in fashion. Of course, it is not about wearing the furry jackets or wrapping your body with an extremely warm coat, but it is about using the fluffy fabric as an accessory.
Hadid, who was spotted out and about with friends Kendall Jenner and Hailey Baldwin, was wearing a long, airy white dress, with her bra cheekily showing. She paired the dress with black boots, black handbag, and a faux fur jacket, which she simply wrapped below her shoulders.

The furry accessory added a unique style to her appropriately warm-weather outfit.
Meanwhile, Hadid seems to be unfazed with the comments made about her and best friend Kendall by former supermodel Stephanie Seymour. In an interview with Vanity Fair, Seymour slammed the two supermodels saying that they are entirely different from the runway legends, which include Seymour herself, Cindy Crawford, Naomi Campbell, Claudia Schiffer, Christy Turlington, and Linda Evangelista.
"They are completely different than we were," she said. "Supermodels are sort of the thing of the past. (Kendall and Gigi) are beautiful girls, and I support all of them, but they need their own title." Seymour suggested that their title could be "B****es of the moment! That would be a good title for them."
Although Hadid has kept her cool and decided to remain silent, her mom Yolanda Foster, as well as Kendall, have lashed out at Seymour. "It's sad to see some of these beautiful semi-retired supermodels, who are mothers themselves now, feel the need to publicly put down someone else's daughter," Foster disappointingly said.
Kendall Jenner, on the other hand, stood up for herself and wrote, "If you choose to be a cyberbully, I'm going to stick up for myself."
"No one is trying to steal Stephanie Seymour's thing, or trying to be her. I guarantee you that she didn't imagine someone so publicly shaming her daughter when she made those comments about us being 'bitches of the moment,'" she added.
After the backlash, Seymour backtracked on her comments and apologized via Instagram.
