Johnny Depp lost his temper after being accused of infidelity by his now-estranged wife, Amber Heard. This was reportedly the cause of one of the biggest fights in their 15-month marriage.
A source told E! News that the Pirates of the Caribbean actor lost his temper after he was accused of cheating by Heard. The confrontation allegedly occurred after Depp got home from a night out.
The source claims that Heard had a feeling that Depp had been with someone else which led her to confront the actor. Their fight allegedly got ugly, with Depp yelling and chasing the scared actress. The source further disclosed that while Depp did not admit to cheating, he later apologized to Heard for his reaction and was subsequently forgiven by the latter.
Depp and Heard dominated the news last month after it was reported that the couple is getting a divorce. Heard filed just two days after Depp's mother passed away. Aside from petitioning for the dissolution of their union, the actress also obtained a court restraining order against Depp.
The actress has stated that she lived in fear of her husband during the tumultuous marriage. Depp, however, has been defended by ex-wife Vanessa Paradis, who claimed that he is not abusive.
Depp has refused to talk about the issue. A representative told E! News that because of the loss of his mother and the short duration of the marriage, the actor will not respond to any of the gossip, lies and misinformation being spread around about his personal life.
