Song Joong-ki has expressed his thoughts on his future, hinting that he still wants to be an actor in 30 years to come. The actor made the statement in response to questions about his career at a fan meeting in Taipei, Taiwan on Saturday.
The popular Descendants of the Sun star declared that he wants to be able to play amazing roles appropriate for his age in 30 years time. While acknowledging that he will probably not be as popular and may have fewer offers, the actor said he believes that he will still be a good actor and will be able to do justice to any roles given to him then.
Song Joong-ki was also asked when would be the best time to be an actor. He replied that these days may probably be the most conducive for acting. He stated that he has always felt happy to be an actor while confessing that he still feels excited and nervous at the same time.
The actor also revealed that he has dreamt about being a professional skater before. He mentioned wanting to be a Korean Olympic Skater but said he was not good enough, so he decided to quit.
Song Joong-ki also said he is open to having a romantic movie with Descendants of the Sun co-star Song Hye-kyo after 30 years. He stated that he would like it and he will do it if it is okay with the pretty actress.
Song Joong-ki and Song Hye-kyo, known as the Song-Song couple, have been rumored to be dating. The two have been seen together many times, and fans have been anticipating the confirmation that they are in a relationship, but neither star has given credence to the rumors.
