There are rumors that lead actor Jamie Dornan is willing to give up his role as Christian Grey in the third sequel of the Fifty Shades movie franchise.
The actor has wrapped up his final scenes with co-star Dakota Johnson in "Fifty Shades Darker." Dornan apparently fears that his intense sex scenes with Johnson could lead his wife, Amelia Warren, into post-partum depression. Warren recently gave birth to their second child while the actor was still filming the franchise.
The actor has allegedly been avoiding his co-star while filming on the set. There are rumors that the reason why their intimate scenes had such fire was because the two were having an affair. But Dornan's avoidance of Johnson is said to be making him appear cold towards her, and this could affect their on-screen chemistry.
The producers of the film have voiced their plans to make the second installment of Fifty Shades live up to the expectations of viewers. However, with Dornan treating Johnson strangely, it has apparently been difficult to film erotic scenes because the camera captures the aloofness he is hiding.
In other news, Zac Efron has expressed his willingness to replace Dornan should the latter decide to give up his role as Christian Grey. Dornan has kept silent about the speculations of his departure.
"Fifty Shades Darker" is scheduled to hit the cinemas on February 10, 2017.
