New photos have been released showing behind-the-scenes of the SBS drama "Wanted," wherein Kim Ah Joong has been seen going to extreme lengths in order to show her character's emotions in the latest thriller drama in Korea.
Kim portrays the role of Jung Hye In in the new drama. Her character is one of the known celebrities in the industry and it revolves around her efforts to rescue her son who was kidnapped, Soompi reported.
Many viewers are buzzing over the new thriller drama as it headlines Kim, who is best now as the "Genre Queen." She has been dubbed as such as she is able to adapt to different drama genres and deliver her best whatever role she is playing.
The agency of the actress, King Entertainment, was the one responsible for the new behind-the-scenes photos showing Kim during filming. In one of the photos, viewers could see that she is very exhausted as she sits in the floor and is clutching what seems to be a flashlight. The actress has her eyes closed seemingly hoping for a miracle as she searches for her missing son. In another snap, Kim is seen bowing her head down as she holds onto a fence.
Accordingly, Kim is in top condition despite having to work for the drama "Wanted" and her new film "The King." She reportedly wants to deliver the emotions of the character that is why she takes the script anywhere she goes and is restlessly studying her character.
Representatives from the crew of "Wanted" said in a statement, "Kim Ah Joong doesn't sleep. We worry about her health, but she told us it's okay and that she only wants to fully immerse herself in becoming Hye In. Her professionalism is impressive."
Just last week, "Wanted" has premiered and it is increasingly becoming one of the top shows in South Korea. On the first two episodes of the show, Kim looked for her son like she was a crazy person. She then received a message saying that her son will die the moment she calls the police, Fashion & Style reported.
The kidnappers then ordered her to create a live reality show and read the lines that they have written. "Wanted" airs Wednesday and Thursdays on SBS.
