Bollywood superstar Hrithik Roshan will appear in the first episode of the upcoming edition of "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 9."
The "Mohenjo Daro" actor, who is known for his dance moves, will join Sri Lankan beauty Jacqueline Fernandez, film-maker Karan Johar and dance director Ganesh Hegde as the judge in the inaugural episode of ninth season of popular dance reality show "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa," Zee News reported. It is not first time that the "Bang Bang" star is becoming part of the show, as he previously appeared in "Jhalak Dikhhala Jaa" in 2013.
According to India Express, the names of eight out of twelve contestants have been finalized, which includes Surveen Chawla, Karishma Tanna, Helly Shah, Arjun Biljani, Gaurav Gera, Priyanka Shah, Poonam Shah and Harpal Singh Sokhi. Also, names of Nora Fetehi, Sonali Raut, Mandana Karimi, Sidhanth Gupta, Siddharth Nigam, Ruhanika Dhawan, Spandan Chaturvedi, Gautam Gulati, Manish Raisinghan, Sanjeeda Shaikh and cricketers Chris Gayle and Dwayne Bravo have come up for possible contestants.
The Sri Lankan model-turned-Bollywood actress is making her television debut with the current season of the dance show, as she replaced actor Shahid Kapoor, who judged eighth season. The 30-year-old actress is on high after the success of her previous movie "Housefull 3," opposite Akshay Kumar.
The Sri Lankan beauty also replaced Katrina Kaif in superstar Salman Khan's home production untitled project, which will be directed by Tarun Mansukhani.
