"One Punch Man" Season 2 will be released in October 2016.During the Anime Expo 2016, Viz Media also revealed that its English dubbed version will air on July 16.
Toonami recently posted the schedule of the much awaited "One Punch Man" Season 2 release date on its Twitter account. The announcement ended the numerous months of speculations regarding the anime's possible air date.
The "One Punch Man" Season 2 release date announcement was greeted with excitement and enthusiasm among the fans and even became a trending topic on Twitter. Along with the release date announcement, its sequel's English dubbed version was also announced to be aired on July 16, ToonZone reported. The announced was made during the Anime Expo 2016 event as the official Twitter page Viz Media tweeted the infomation.
The "One Punch Man" Season 2 dubbed version cast includes Max Mittelman as the mighty One Punch Man while Zach Aguilar will make Genos voice be heard. Erik Scott Kimerer will provide voice for Speed O' Sound Sonic and Robbie Daymond would embody Mumen Rider.
"One Punch Man" Season 2 will reportedly have more than 12 episodes, because the manga series has nine volumes, Game N Guide reported. "One Punch Man" Season 2 has been previously reported to feature Saitama. According to reports, the character will face three villains, Garou, Lord Boros, and Amai Mask.
The main storyline teaser for "One Punch Man" Season 2 features Garou in the Hero Hunt arc while rumors of the return of Lord Baros has spread throughout the internet. Amai Mask is believed to most likely discover the secret behind Saitama's powers.
"One Punch Man" Season 2 manga creator Yusuke Murata confirmed that they are working on the first phase of the production and that they are already updating the source materials for the anime. There are no details yet on what storyline it will be based on. Watch the video for more details.
