"Thor: Ragnarok" is confirmed to have started filming in Australia on Jul 4. Chris Hemsworth will reprise his role as Thor and announced about major changes that will take place in the movie. Many speculate that this change could involve him losing his mighty hammer, the Mjolnir.
Although there are no official reports in terms of the plot for "Thor: Ragnarok," news via Screen Rant suggests that Thor will likely be facing a major challenge following his banishment from Asgard. It is also speculated that he loses his power over his hammer. Another news from Time also reveals that as Thor loses his hammer, he might be getting a new weapon.
Meanwhile, fans are also aware about Marvel's attempt to endorse their character's solo movies which explains the guest appearances of several heroes especially from the roster of "The Avengers." On that note, it is not surprising why the incredible hulk will be joining Thor as his ally in the upcoming "Thor:Ragnarok."
Taika Waititi, the new director of "Thor: Ragnarok," also told fans to keep a close watch as he might make a surprise cameo in the film. He reveals that he drew inspiration from the comic book "Planet Hulk" so the storyline could be a semblance of it.
On another note, it seems that working with Waititi offers a lot of humor on the setof "Thor: Ragnarok." The director took to Instagram to announce that Thor's hammer will indeed be in the set and judging by the photos, Thor should not be allowed to bring his hammer inside the toilet:
