Aside from reports from previous months that "Deadpool 2" will surely hit the big screens, not much has been released about the movie sequel; however, Ryan Reynolds has hinted that the release date will be on 2018 through his Instagram account, and movie producer Simon Kinberg revealed exciting details through a recent interview.
Reynolds has "regrammed" - or reposted on Instagram - a fan-made movie poster for "Deadpool 2," which indicated that the said movie would be released in 2018, University Herald reported.
The fan-made "Deadpool 2" poster was a close up image of a door with a bathroom sign. The other half of the sign had the symbol for the men's bathroom, and the other half had the symbol for the persons with disability bathroom.
Both symbol found in "Deadpool 2's" fan-made poster have been defaced by a hand with a glove holding a marker, and presently, the symbols have been drawn on to symbolize Wolverine and Professor X, respectively. The glove had a tiny detail on it that certainly needs a bit of squinting: on the right side of the hand, the glove has "mutant 101 is here" written in white ink.
Reynolds' reposting the said fan-made "Deadpool 2" poster raises speculations of a possible crossover between the X-Men and Deadpool franchise, given that both movies co-exist in the same world.
According to Vine Report, the executive producer for both the "X-Men" and "Deadpool" franchise revealed some details about both movies. Kinberg confirmed that "Deadpool 2" production is indeed underway. In an interview with "That Hashtag Show" at the 2016 Saturn awards, he shared that they will "start shooting 'Deadpool 2' at the beginning of next year," because "Wolverine" is in its filming stage at the moment and writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick are currently working on the "Deadpool 2" script.
Kinberg also shared that aside from "Deadpool 2," 20th Century Fox is also working on numerous other action-packed superhero movies. He revealed that another "X-Men" movie is underway, although it is unclear which timeline from the comic it will portray. "Gambit" is also set to start production next year, with Channing Tatum playing the much-awaited titular role.
