Warner Bros. is set to take Comic-Con by storm as they are set to show the premiere of "Batman: The Killing Joke," as well as three other animated features, starting July 22, which is sure to catch the fancy of comic book and animation fans.
Warner Bros. is known to be the home of several popular animation series, from DC super heroes to Hanna-Barbera cartoons. According to Jobs & Hire, the giant entertainment company will show the premiere of "Batman: The Killing Joke" on July 22, with a panel interview to be held afterwards. The premiere will mark the release of the animation feature worldwide, with the Digital HD copy available for purchase by July 26 and the Blu-Ray Deluxe copies by August 2.
"Batman: The Killing Joke" is a 1988 graphic story written by Allan Moore in 1988. It features the origin story of the Joker and tells the story of the Joker attempting to drive police commissioner Gordon and Batman's desperate attempt to stop him. The novel was highly praised by critics and has been reproduced in different media. The movie will star Kevin Conroy as Batman and Mark Hamill as Joker.
According to Nerdist, Warner Bros. will also feature three other animated features in Comic-Con. Aside from "Batman: The Killing Joke," they will also feature "Scooby-Doo & WWE," which features the ghost hunting gang with WWE superstars on July 23, "DC Super Hero Girls: Hero of the Year" on July 24 and "Batman Unlimited: Monster Mayhem" which will hold an autograph session on July 24 as well.
