The production crew of "Fifty Shades of Grey" has resumed filming the remaining scenes of the franchise, days after the unexpected terrorist attack in France. Stars Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson were spotted in a town near Nice, filming at a Medieval Castle located in the town of Roquebrune-Cap-Martin.

Dornan and Johnson were filming their honeymoon scene along the French Riviera for "Fifty Shades Freed," the third installment of "Fifty Shades of Grey," hours prior to the terrorist attack on Bastille Day that has killed dozens of people. The production crew announced through social media that the cast and the crew were all accounted for after the attack, but would suspend the filming for safety precautions.

According to Variety, officials described the rampage as one of France's deadliest attack so far. The cast were deeply affected by the tragedy that even Johnson posted on her Instagram account a brokenhearted view of the place while inside her trailer. But "Fifty Shades of Grey" must go own despite the tragedy.

There have been talks that the attack, which caused another interruption on the filming of the sequels for "Fifty Shades of Grey," would cause a delay on the release; however, Cinema Blend reported that there were a lot of issues that have interrupted the filming of the sequels even before the terrorist attack. The director, Sam Taylor-Johnson, has already opted to drop out after several disagreements with the author, E.L James. Dornan and Johnson also had to reshoot several of their intimate scenes after the actor's distance with his co-star had caused a rift on their on-screen chemistry.

"Fifty Shades Darker," the second installment of the "Fifty Shades of Grey" franchise, is still slated a Feb. 10, 2017 release.
