Jessica Sanchez released "Stronger Together," the unity anthem of the Democratic National Convention (DNC) for Hilary Clinton. Songwriters Carole Bayer Sager, Kenneth Edmonds and Bruce Roberts penned the song for Clinton. The singer will be recording a more commercial version of the track which will be available for purchase next month.
Sanchez' voice was heard over the speakers during the Democratic National Convention on Jul 28 held in the United States. The singer told Billboard that she recorded "Stronger Together" just a few days before the event. She mentioned that Sager asked her manager for her availability despite her busy schedule, and she did not hesitate to join them for the recording.
Sager was confident that Sanchez would make a good performance after witnessing how she brought the house down when she was asked to perform "The Prayer" for the finale of "American Idol" Season 11 in April. Even until now, the singer is being praised for how she delivered the message of "Stronger Together" with her beautiful voice.
Meanwhile, Sanchez is currently working with Edmonds and will go back to the studio to record a cleaner and commercial version of "Stronger Together." According to Romper, as of date, the unity song is only available for streaming in YouTube and will not be available for purchase until next month.
Fans will be able to hear the song as it will be used for Clinton's campaign until November. There are rumors that Sanchez is on the trail to performing it live, though there have been no confirmations yet. The singer expressed hopes for it to happen.
