Entertainment icon Aaron Kwok is now dating the 27-year-old Moka Fang. The 50-year-old actor is not bothered by the big age difference and said that it is not an issue on their relationship.
He was in a reception last week when the media tried asking him about his ex-girlfriend, model Lynn Hung. The media cited Hung's public PDA with current boyfriend, businessman Ken Kwok.
Kwok and Hung had a rough breakup in 2013. The Chinese model even posted on her Weibo account bragging about her new mane. Hung added that she had found a more suitable relationship with Ken Kwok.
The "Twilight of a Nation" actor did not seem offended by the public posts. He said, "I wish her well. Of course I hope everyone is happy."
Then, he paused to announce a special news.
"Life is not a battlefield, there is no need to compete," he said. He said that he is officially dating Fang.
This was the first time Kwok went out to the public about his love life. He had just been linked to a string of relationship rumours but he never admitted to any of them until now.
"I'm going public with the relationship because the timing is right. I want to go public because I want to date sincerely and honestly, and also hope to receive blessings," he said.
"Although I don't know what the future holds, I'm brave. Marriage is another stage, I'll leave it to heaven to decide. My thinking is mature now. Going public won't affect my work."
Kwok said Fang has not met his mother yet but this will be their "next step."
