Korean actress Ha Yeon Soo recently deleted her Facebook and set her Instagram on private after facing backlash from her followers when she answered one of the commenters. Her reply was deemed rude by many of her followers.
Ha uploaded a painting by Sigismund Righini and wrote his name on the caption alongside the photo. One fan then let a comment asking if she could now the name of the painting. Ha replied to the fan, "I tagged his name. And obviously the way to find out is to buy his work book or Googling it. I'm replying because it seems you don't want to put in the work of Googling it."
Many netizens came to the defense of the fan who wanted to know the name of the painting, Netizen Buzz reported. Some pointed out that knowing just the artist's name is not enough to look for the specific piece of work. The photo has since been deleted but some of the comments were saved.
One comment reads: "Don't act like you're so classy instead of going around taking pictures everyday, she should be studying instead. She's already showing early signs of the celebrity disease." Another commenter said that Ha is probably wondering about how she will apologize but even if she does, the commenter questioned if people will believe it if it is genuine adding that the Korean actress has had issues with her attitude in the past.
One more commenter called Ha a rotten person and that she seems like the type of person who "judges others." Another follower said that Ha is just a B-list celebrity and is not known for any notable work under her name.
After the backlash, Ha wrote an apology. She said that she sincerely apologizes to the fans she has hurt directly when she answered a query, All KPop reported. She added that she did not give much thought on her answer and that she should have been responsible in all her words as an actress.
Ha also acknowledged that her words were immature and were rude.
