Many actors are already well respected, either on the big screen, on television or both, but there are those who have crossed into the video gaming world to lend their skills in making the game characters come to life. This is an important factor if a gaming company wants their product to be a success.

In much the same way that acting in front of the camera requires talent, voice actors also need skill when it comes to conveying a character's personality and emotions without the help of facial expressions. There's no doubt that it's not an easy job, but here are some celebrities who pulled it off remarkably, according to Creators.

Peter Dinklage. Dinklage shot to fame because of "Game of Thrones," playing the role of Tyrion Lannister. He appeared in numerous other projects like "The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian" and "X-Men: Days of Future Past." He also did voice acting for "Ice Age: Continental Drift" and "The Angry Birds Movie," but in the video gaming world, he played Ghost in "Destiny."

Sean Bean. The 57-year-old actor is known for his role as Boromir in "The Lord of the Rings" film trilogy, and he became a household name for playing Ned Stark in the HBO series "Game of Thrones." In the gaming world, he brought Emperor Martin Septim to life in the game "Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion."

Sir Patrick Stewart. Known for his roles as Captain Jean-Luc Picard in "Star Trek: The Next Generation" as well as Professor Charles Xavier in the "X-Men" film series, Stewart was behind the character Zobek in "Castlevania: Lords of Shadow."

Samuel L. Jackson. Jackson has numerous films under his belt, and one of his most widely known roles is Nick Fury in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He's no stranger to voice acting, either, with credits in films like "The Incredibles" and "Afro Samurai," but players of "Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas" know him as Frank Tenpenny.

Liam Neeson. The 64-year-old actor has a long list of films, including "Star Wars: Episode 1 - The Phantom Menace," "Schindler's List," "Taken," and "Batman Begins." He also voiced Aslan in "The Chronicles of Narnia," Bad Cop/Good Cop/Pa Cop in "The Lego Movie," and did the English dub for Fujimoto in "Ponyo." In the game "Fallout 3," he is James - a father.

Other actors that have become part of popular games are: Michael Fassbender ("Fable III"); Kiefer Sutherland ("Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain); Martin Sheen ("Mass Effect 2"); Mark Hamill ("Arkham Asylum, Arkham City"); John Goodman ("Rage"); and William Dafoe ("Beyond: Two Souls"), among others.
