LG Electronics has confirmed that the upcoming LG V20 will carry Android 7.0 Nougat. The next in line LG flagship will start shipping the device during the year's third quarter.
The LG V20, out of the box, will carry the rich and premium multimedia feature that its predecessor LG V10 carried in 2015. The set of features will be updated through Android 7.0 Nougat, which will then include graphics that are Vulcan-supported to provide immersive gaming and improved 3,000mAh battery performance, Droid Life reported.
Users of the LG V20 will likewise have Direct Reply productivity feature. The heightened productivity pack will allow users to update tasks and quickly respond to text messages through the interface.
The LG V20 will reportedly have a shock-resistant body, offering a stylish look with stainless steel frame and a back cover made of Dura Skin. The volume and power buttons will be situated at the back rather than on the sides.
An updated LG V20 will have a 5.7-inch 1440x2560 IPS LCD screen with Snapdragon 808 processor. It will have Adreno 418 GPU and 4GB of RAM. Its primary shooter is a 16-megapixel camera, but a 5-megapixel selfie camera will also be present.
Google and LG first collaborated during the first Android phone built by LG, carrying Android Cupcake. The companies have continued their partnership with the series of Nexus smartphones, which carried Android Jelly Bean, Android 4.4 KitKat, and Android Marshmallow.
Meanwhile, the LG V20 is set to be released to compete with Apple's iPhone 7 and Samsung's Galaxy Note 7. The LG V20 possible release date will be likely earlier than last year's October launch. The company is trying to compete with Apple's iPhone 7 and Samsung's Galaxy Note 7's release which are scheduled to happen in September and August, respectively, Hot Apple News reported.
LG V20 price is most likely to be in line with V10 but there is no confirmation yet. LG V10's retail price in 2015 was $600; hence, consumers are expecting that LG V20's price is around the same price. Watch the video for more of LG V20.
