"Transformers" fame Megan Fox is returning to the American comedy series "New Girl" in the upcoming Season 6 for a major arc, meaning in all eight episodes.
In the lofty comedy sitcom "New Girl," the character of Fox has a confident and cool personality. Due to her real-life pregnancy of her third child with her husband Brian Austin Green, she will re-appear in her role as Regan in the middle of Season 6 and will have a recurring role on all eight episodes.
According to Entertainment Weekly, during "New Girl" Season 5 finale, Nick Miller (Jake Johnson) told Jess (Zooey Deschanel) that he is going to New Orleans to spend time with his sort-of-girlfriend Reagan (Megan Fox) and to help her in her new job.
Meanwhile, Fox initially joined "New Girl" Season 5 finale to support the show during Deschanel's maternity leave back in August 2015. She first appeared in Episode 6 as she rented Jess' room. At that time, Fox's character Reagan became close to Nick, and the two ended up going to Cece and Schmidt's wedding and made plans for the midsummer. It seems that in the last season of the sitcom, Jess was just about to admit her feelings for Nick.
Though Fox will not appear at the start of the new "New Girl" Season 6, fans are happy that she is back after the last season. The upcoming sitcom will air on Sept. 20, 8:30pm ET, through the Fox Broadcasting Company, TV Line reported. This is the same premiere date when the sitcom had its original release.
