Filipino Teen Couple and Love Team Nadine Lustre and James Reid was recently featured in Teen Vogue. The two were interviewed about their love story and was tagged as "The Filipino Love Team You Need to Know." They shared how "Jadine" started, and how it became official in real life.
In the online article written by Isis Briones, the two shared details about how their love team, known as "Jadine," started, and how they fell in love for real. Lustre shared with Teen Vogue that she first met Reid when he picked her to be his partner for his music video. Reid said that picking the actress was based on pure instinct.
Their love team started when they were paired for their first movie titled "Diary ng Pangit." Everyone saw the chemistry they shared and fans could not help but name their love team as "Jadine." Lustre and Reid said that their tandem was initially just part of the job.
Lustre explained that when two celebrities are paired and their on screen love team pleased the fans, it is expected that they would become a package deal; however, the two could not help but develop feelings for each other after spending time together on so many projects. Reid said that when they announced that "Jadine" was official in February, it felt like a weight on his shoulders was lifted.
The "Jadine" couple is currently taping a new movie soap drama titled "Til I Met You." According to Inquirer, the couple also launched a book titled "Team Real," following the success of their recent "Jadine In Love World Tour."
