Members of the Xbox Games with Gold program can get another set of great titles this August for free. There are two for Xbox One gamers but they can also get the two games meant for Xbox 360 owners through Backwaeds Compatibility.
Free Games for Xbox One
For starters, Xbox Live Gold members who use Xbox One can get "WARRIORS OROCHI 3 Ultimate" anytime for the whole month of August. This tactical hack-and-slash video game is an update of the original title but it expands the story. There are also two new stories in this version, namely "The Tale of the Former Day" and "The Tale of the Latter Day." The "WARRIORS OROCHI" series is a cross-over between "Dynasty Warriors" and "Samurai Warriors," with "Orochi 3" bringing in more than 120 playable characters.
From Aug. 16 to 31, they can get "WWE 2K16" that features Stone Cold Steve Austin as cover. The 17th title in the "WWE" game series, the 2K16 version boasts more than 120 unique playable characters, including Col. Robert Parker, Kama Mustafa, Kevin Owens, and more. Gamers can play in the 2K Showcase game mode, MyCareer mode, WWE Universe, and the Creative Suite.
Free Games for Xbox 360
From Aug. 1 to 15, "Spelunky" will be available for download. Gamers have to explore tunnels underground in various terrains, avoiding both traps and enemies like snakes, ghosts, and man-eating plants. They need to collect as much treasure as they can as well as some useful tools like guns, climbing gear, and more.
And finally, from Aug. 16 to 31, Xbox Live members can have "Beyond Good & Evil HD," an action-adventure game with elements of puzzle-solving and stealth. They have to control Jade, an investigative reporter who is trying to investigate a massive conspiracy, and solve puzzles, fight enemies, and gather evidence.
These two games can be played on Xbox 360 and on Xbox One using Backward Compatibility.
