Admirers are excited when "Descendants of the Sun" Season 2 was said to air in 2017. Thanks to Season 1's achievement and the continuous uproar of fanatics on continuing their admired show, Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo's personas will again shower love in everybody's hearts. Or will they?
According to Yibada, the confirmation of "Descendants of the Sun" Season 2 came with the information that the plot will not be the same with Season 1, and there were no information yet to support if writer Kim Eun Sok will be coming back for Season 2. Even though avid followers take that the plot will be different, they are foreseeing that Season 2 will at least follow the military concept of the drama.
Information for "Descendants of the Sun" Season 2 is still very baffling; however, Kim recently stated that Season 2 is definitely not a sequel to the first season, but if they adopt fan's idea regarding the military concept, then Joong Ki and Hye Kyo will reprise their roles.
Meanwhile, there are contradicting information on whether Joong Ki and Hye Kyo will comeback for "Descendants of the Sun" Season 2. Given the notion that the former is indeed exhausted of unbroken public surveillance and lack of privacy. If this is the case then maybe it will take more than one year for Song Joong Ki to return to making TV series or movies.
In other news, there is one alarming rumor that has surfaced involving "Descendants of the Sun" Season 2. Apparently, the tourism Ministry and Taebaek City in Gangwon Province are having issues with the budget. If this is true, many are wondering as to how far the segment would implement to get A-listers Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo in board.
In a different note, Asia Star News relayed of another hurdle that Joong Ki might deal with, particularly the banning of Korean movies into China' shores.
It remains uncertain in whether "Descendants of the Sun" major stars such as Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo would return or other characters would be handpicked to take their epic place.
