As good things continue to pour his way, actor Jang Keun Suk always finds a way to give back and help those who are in need, hence, "The Royal Gambler" actor is now planning to donate 50 million won that was accumulated from a photo exhibition initiated by his fans to celebrate the actor's 29th birthday.
According to a source affiliated with Tree J Company, all entrance fees collected from the photo exhibition during the weekend will be donated to help deprived neighbors, Korea Joongang Daily reported. The photo exhibition in Chungdam-dong showcased photos that were personally taken by Jang.
"The Royal Gambler" actor graced the photo exhibition initiated by his fans and said, "It was a very meaningful time for me that reminded me of my memories." He also expressed his gratitude towards his fans who came up with the idea of putting up a photo exhibition to celebrate his birthday.
Last year, fans of Jang also held a photo exhibition and accumulated 6 million won, which was donated to a charity for people with hearing impairments. Aside from that, Jang has recently donated 50 million won to the Miral Welfare Foundation to help disabled children get treatment, as per Soompi.
Amid hectic work schedule, the actor personally went to the foundation to personally hand them his donation. Jang said he is delighted his good cause could help children who are in dire need.
Jang started his acting career at a young age. In 1997, he appeared in sitcom "Selling Happiness." Since then, the actor continued to make a number of appearances on small screen. Jang is also known for his films "Camp," "The Happy Life" and "The Case Of Itaewon Homicide."
