"Dead Rising," the survival horror video game series developed and first published by Capcom in 2006, will be released for the Xbox One, Windows PC, and PlayStation 4 next month.
"In celebration of Dead Rising's 10th Anniversary, we're bringing Dead Rising, Dead Rising 2 and Dead Rising 2: Off the Record to a new generation of zombie slayers on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC," reads the announcement on Capcom's official blog. "All games feature Dead Rising's classic zombie sandbox gameplay will include all DLC costumes and upgraded graphics presented in 1080p at 60 frames per second."
Capcom also posted a video to announce this anniversary edition.
In the first game, players take on the role of photojournalist Frank West who gets trapped in a mall full of zombies. The second one centers on Chuck Greene, a motocross champion who is falsely accused to starting a zombie outbreak. "Off the Record" is a remake of the second game, but this one brings back Frank West as the main character.
According to the post, the updated digital version of "Dead Rising," "Dead Rising 2," and "Dead Rising 2: Off the Record" will be released on Sept. 13. The disc for the first game will be made available in North America on the same day, while the disc for the second game will be released on Sept. 27.
"Dead Rising" will have versions for Xbox One, PlayStation, and PC, but the two "Dead Rising 2" titles will only be for the two game consoles. Each one costs $19.99 (€19.99 or £15.99), but there is a digital Triple Pack ($59.49) that players can pre-order for 16 percent less.
Aside from that, the 10th anniversary of the franchise will also mark the release of "Dead Rising 4." It shows the return of Frank West to the fictional town of Willamette, Colorado, the setting of the first game, where he faces another outbreak of zombies. It will be released on Dec. 6 for Windows PC and Xbox One.
