Rumors claim that Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber might be back together again.
During the span of 4 years of their relationship, the ex-couple has been bombarded with different rumors and controversies, which led to their break up numerous times. Since people got used to the couple's on-and-off relationship, when both decided to call it quits, fans pretty much assumed that they'd get back together eventually.
Rumors are partly true according to Movie News Guide as Gomez and Bieber might do some things together again but would be related to their professional careers. It is said that there's a chance that the ex-lovers would collaborate for a song in the near future, but it doesn't mean that the two would rekindle their past romance.
News about the ex-couples collaboration started when Gomez posted a snap where she's seen singing along with DJ Snake's single "Let me Love you," while the latter coincidentally posted a snippet where Bieber was seen singing the same song. People started to connect the puzzle pieces and quickly assumed that the two might end up having a duet despite their messy breakup.
The same publication noted that DJ Snake might have added fuel to the fire when he tweeted Gomez with a heart, which got a lot of fans convinced that Jelena duet might happen; however, DJ Snake immediately deleted his tweet and gave out a statement saying that Gomez also recorded her own version of the song.
In other news, during a recent Vogue interview with Gomez, she stated that her break up with Bieber might be the best thing that happened in her life and career. According to Daily Mail, she felt like people were more focused on invading her private life rather than supporting her in doing what she loves.
In the interview, the singer pointed out that she struggled a lot because she really wanted people to see her more than just being Bieber's girlfriend. However, since it was the height of Bieber's career and both of them were often surrounded with controversies, it became hard for her to do what she loves, which was to perform and sing in front of people.
Gomez even stated, "You want to do what you love but all this other stuff overshadows it so it makes it a little harder for people to take me seriously."
