Bollywood actress and controversy queen Rakhi Sawant got into yet another controversy when she was spotted wearing a black outfit that has Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi's pictures all over it.
She landed into legal trouble as a social group filed a case against her in a north Indian court. "By wearing such a dress, Sawant has degraded the position of the Prime Minister not just in India but also across the world," a representative of group said, reported Asian Age newspaper.
Sawant, known for her controversial remarks and bizarre statements, wore the 'sexy' and 'vulgar' Modi dress during an Indian Independence anniversary event in Wheaton (IL), United States last week. She was chief guest at the event organized by Federation of Indian Americans.
Rakhi tried to defend her saying she did sent the dress for Narendra Modi and his party's approval. " I made this dress so that I can impress Modi ji. Modi ji is my dream man. I am most happy that he is our PM and he will remain one for next 15 years. Wherever I go I will wear this dress, and I will also make one sari with his image on it," the actress turned politician said, reported Daily News and Analysis (DNA) newspaper.
The 37-year-old drama queen will be next seen in "Ek Kahani Julie Ki" movie, which is reportedly based on a real life Sheena Bora murder case.
