The new extended trailer of "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" has been released, featuring additional footages from the highly anticipated film. Some of the magical beasts included in the show has also been revealed, along with the confirmation that "Divergent" series' Zoe Kravitz's will join the franchise.
In "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them," Eddie Redmayne takes the role of the wizard magizoologist named Newt Scamander who journeys to find and document an array of extraordinary magical creatures. The new trailer for the film was recently aired during the Olympic coverage by TV network, NBC. Meanwhile, a glimpse of the magical creatures that Scamander is set to meet has finally been revealed. The Irish Examiner reported six of the most important magical creatures.
The first in the list of magical creatures in "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" are the "Nifflers." Harry Potter fans could recall that Ron Weasley once used this type of creature to find Leprechaun Gold. Second is the "Bowtruckle," a magical creature that is good at picking locks.
Next is the Thunderbird, wherein Scamander promised to return to Arizona after rescuing it from the traffickers in Egypt. Fourth in the list is the "Swooping Evil" whose venom can be used to erase bad memories when properly diluted. Fifth is the primate like creature, the "Demiguise." Author J.K Rowling explained that it was a creature difficult to catch as it has the ability to become invisible at will. Lastly, the "Occamy" who can grow or shrink to fit any available space.
Meanwhile, Entertainment Weekly was the first to confirm the casting of "Divergent" star Zoe Kravitz. Her role remains a mystery as of the moment, but is said to be an important one.
