New teaser images of Tim Burton's film adaptation of "Miss Perigrine's Home for Peculiar Children" has been released. Screen writer Jane Goldman reveals Burton gave actor Samuel Jackson a much more prominent role by expanding the final sequence of Ransom Rigg's novel.
"Miss Perigrine;s Home for Peculiar Children" is one of Burton's highly anticipated films. As the release date gets closer, more teaser photos of the film has been released by Entertainment Weekly.
According to Comic Book, one of the most exciting things to look forward to is Jackson's role in "Miss Perigrine's Home for Peculiar Children." Just recently, fans were blown away by one of the photos featuring the actor's character, Barron, leader of Wights, taken aback by Emma's peculiarity. Goldman shared during an interview with the same source that Burton wanted to highlight Jackson's character. In order to do this, he expanded the climactic final sequence of Riggs' novel in the movie.
The screenwriter also shared that Burton beefed up Jackson's character and his role is now more prominent as compared to her original script. She added how the actor has brought with him various ways of being scary and never fails to appear intimidating, which is perfect for his role.
"Miss Perigrine's Home for Peculiar Children" is a film adaptation of Riggs' novel of the same name. Other than Jackson, the cast also includes Eva Green who plays Miss. Perigrine, Allison Janney who plays Dr. Golan, Ella Purnell who plays the peculiar Emma Bloom joined by Asa Buttefield as Jacob Portman.
