Famous couple Eugene and Ki Tae-young together with their daughter RoHee was confirmed as casts of KBS reality show "Superman Returns". This reality show is one of South Korea's most favorite Sunday afternoon programs.
"Superman Returns" challenges dads to do things on their own while their wives are away to relax. Their children are left with them for 48 hours and they need to carry out several tasks or discover new activities with their kids. Cameras are set up in the houses of the celebrity casts.
The show held remarkable records on TV ratings and recipient of some entertainment distinctions. It topped Sunday variety ratings for 47 successive weeks after their May 24 episode, according to Nielsen Korea as stated at Soompi. This year the show received the award for Best Entertainment Program on the 51st Baeksang Arts Awards. Viewers truly enjoyed the show and were closely following each episode every week.
The couple, Eugene and Ki Tae-young together with their baby girl will for sure add more excitement to the show. They will replace Um Tae-woong who left the show last November. They shot their first episode last Dec. 9 according to Daily K-Pop News.
The couple got married last July 23, 2011. They starred on the TV series "Creating Destiny" and they were the first celebrity couple who were featured on "Super Couple Diary." Their baby girl was born April 2015.
Interesting casts of the show include comedian/host Lee Hwi-jae and his sons who were fraternal twins. The show also has MMA Fighter Choo Sung-hoon with his daughter. Actor Song II-gook brings with him his sons who are a fraternal triplet. Lastly, professional football player Lee Dong-gook takes the real fun on TV with his four daughters and his son.
