Kris Aquino will reportedly return to GMA 7 after her 20 years stay at the Kapamilya network.
The Queen of All Media ended her contract with ABS-CBN in March 2016. She then spoke to netizens through Instagram that she will lay low to concentrate on her family, business and health. On a report of Philstar, it was quoted that Aquino will focus on her business to support her sons.
Just recently, a social media post about her meeting with the CEO of Television and Production Exponents Philippines, Inc. (TAPE Inc.), Antonio Tuviera and director son, Mike Tuviera, made the social media abuzz. TAPE Inc. is the producer of "Eat Bulaga", the longest running Philippine noontime show and "Sunday Pinasaya". The company also holds Triple A which manages the careers of Yaya Dub and Marian Rivera.
After days of speculations, the actress finally expressed her side through a social media post. She said, "I can and I will. Let me shock you with my silence." Aquino asks respect from everyone as she considers her fans stakeholders of her career. She also mentioned that her family gave her time to reflect on her next career move. Aquino is rumored to have her own talk show upon her return to Kapuso station, Sunstar reported.
Aquino co-hosted "Startalk" with Boy Abunda and Lolit Solis before she transferred to ABS-CBN in 1996. She was host of numerous talk and game shows in the Kapamilya network including "Morning Girls with Kris and Korina," "The Buzz," "Pilipinas Game KNB?," "Kapamilya: Deal or No Deal?," and her last morning show, "Kris TV." Last June, the actress made an appearance at GMA's "Yan ang Morning!" hosted by Marian Rivera.
