Is South Korean superstar Yoon Eun Hye ready for a big comeback after plagiarism scandal?

Almost a year after the explosion of the plagiarism scandal that had caused a great impact on her career, rumors have been circulating that South Korean actress, singer, and director Yoon Eun Hye is ready for a major comeback in the show business.

Speculations of Yoon’s comeback started after she attended an event to endorse the beauty brand L’Oreal in China on Aug. 19, Soompi reported. It has eventually resulted to assumptions that the actress is ready to take new projects after having her long break.

However, Yoon’s representative denied the hearsays and explained that the star attended the event only to promote the brand and nothing more. He further said that Yoon is set to come back to Korea in the latter part of August this year.

The 31-year-old actress was involved in a plagiarism scandal in September 2015 after owning the designs of various designers on the Chinese fashion show "Goddess' Fashion 2," All Kpop reported. Since then, the actress lied low in her career and became inactive in the show business.

Yoon started her career in the entertainment industry when she became one of the embers of the South Korean girl group Baby V.O.X. in 1999. When the group disbanded six years later, she tried the moved to the acting scene.

In 2006, Yoon was given her first drama role in the hit Korean romantic comedy-drama series “Princess Hours” wherein she was paired with actor Ju Ji-hoon. After her successful acting debut, she again starred on other top-rated shows like “Coffee Prince” and “Missing You.”
